using an RB2011 to monitor 3 NOCs and Dude, (I monitor from home via vpn
to the rb2011). The NOC it (RB2011) is attached to has been upgraded to
300Mbps from 100MBps (Spectrum modem). This NOC is slowing way down to
real poor service and is also losing contact with the other 2 NOCs via
this one which have not been upgraded and are still at 100Mbps. (Those
2 NOCs are using older RB450 models). Resetting the Spectrum/Charter
modem seems to make the problem go away for awhile. Spectrum of course
blames my equipment and their modem is always operating perfectly (of
course!;-)). Been through this story at least 100 times, but I got to
ask: is there a tweak that needs to be done on my Mikrotiks to
stop/reduce this problem? Problem started about 24 hours after ordering
the new service and has re-occurred twice since and we're inside of 36
hours. I'm sure my customers are real happy with the bad weather
interruptions, drunks hitting poles and now this problem.
