Afternoon all, I'm working on redesigning my network to use vlans. At this tower, I have the head MT router, which goes into the switch and has multiple APs attached to it.
What I would like to do is have this vlan tagged traffic make it out into the air for the client MT's to be able to pick up. This I have working, able to make the client interface connect into any one of my 3 vlan subnets being advertised from the main router. What I would really like to have on top of that is to take my first vlan (which is a hotspot setup at the main mt), and have users with laptops be able to sign in to that ap. As well as have some remote AP be able to attach to that first vlan & repeat that hotspot network. So far, my attempt have failed. If I bridge ether1, wlan1, & wds, then CPE's recieve all 3 vlans no problem. But I can't connect wirelessly with my laptop. I bridged first vlan & virtualAP1, and I was able to connect wirelessly, but the CPE's no longer see the vlans. Is this possible, or am I trying to have my cake & eat it too? Thanks -Keith- -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://www.butchevans.com/pipermail/mikrotik/attachments/20080407/23e8e578/attachment.html
