What is the correct way to port mirror an adsl connection? I have a office that I need to run a IDS for (inside and out). There is a single MT with 4 nics. I need to mirror all router traffic out the 4th (well a vlan on it). If I add the PPPoE nic to a bridge it kills the PPPoE, less I add that to the bridge. However, it does not bridge the traffic to the other port. Is there a way to do this with MT or will I need to install a tap (not a preferred option due to customer wishes).
