Josh, What kind of distance can you get with a good line of site on 5.8 and
a 19dbi panel? I have always done 2.4 but the noise is kicking my butt in
so many locations and I have used 5.8 for all my backhauls. Been
considering changing to 5.8 in a few locals but understand it is even more
picky for a good LOS. I have some Hor 2.4 that I am able to cut through a
woods with at 1.5 mile and still have a -79.

Not 100% screwed but it is a pain in the ass problem. Upgrading cards and
changing the polarity would be my first two steps.

Note this is why I avoid 2.4 - most of my equipment is 5.8 (even the
backhauls...hmm) and a little bit of 900.
