On a wireless network we're building, the end users (the pc or router behind the wireless CPE) will be doing pppoe. We terminate the pppoe at a device beyond our AP.

If I'm reading the documentation correctly, the wireless default queue is SCQ, Stochastic Fairness Queuing. The docs state that the client traffic it attempts to equalize are based on UDP or TCP streams. Since the AP will only see PPPOE going past it (no tcp or udp connections), will this queuing mechanism even work? Is there a better way? No, we can't (at this point) do pppoe on the AP.

thanks,
