I want to run my own program on my RB433, specifically vpnc for connecting
to a Cisco VPN. To do that, I need to be able to get files on and off
my RB while I'm testing, and be able to start the program up from
a shell prompt. I saw that if I create the file /nova/etc/devel-login
I can then login as "devel" and I get a busybox prompt. However,
I only did that with a VMWare image, not my real RB.

So, does anyone know a way to create an arbitrary file on an
RB so I can't get my busybox prompt? I tried booting over the
network but my flash partitions aren't recognised.

I tried creating a .npk file, but when I upload it, it says that
it's corrupt. When I extract other npk files, there is a section
that appears to be a signature, so I'm currently out of luck
with that.
