Scott- Thank You! That was what I needed. I was able to get the AP channel numbers to display in the boxes on the device map, and once I find the UBNT RSSI stuff I can make that work too. I still don't understand why there it is so hard to find the mib for RSSI on these radios, but hopefully I can find what I need.
Again, thanks for the help, Ralph -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Scott Reed Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2011 5:40 PM To: Mikrotik discussions Subject: Re: [Mikrotik] The Dude and UBNT SNMP I don't do much with UBNT, but I do a lot with the Dude. Where do you want the information to show up? If it is in the box on the map, it goes in the Label of the Appearance selection in the right-click menu. Format is: [oid("1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1.0")] This is actually the uptime OID on a MT unit, so I display Up: [oid("1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1.0")] You can also do calculations, so the entire label for this unit is: [Device.Name] [Device.AddressesCommaList] [oid("1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1")]% [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.8.0")/10] VDC Up: [oid("1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1.0")] GFBH: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.2.1.3.0.21.109.101.209.182.2")] WWBH: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.2.1.3.0.21.109.103.188.0.2")] Connected: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.2.2.0")] [Device.ServicesDown] I always test that things are going to work by choosing SNMPWalk from the right-click menu. If that doesn't work, the label won't work. I have found on MT devices that the first address listed in the Dude MUST be the one that is nearest the Dude server. If you do a traceroute from the server to the device, the first address must be the one connected to the first upstream device. If you need more help, email me, sreed (at) nwwnet (dot) net.
