I use PagePlus for my wireless phone. It allows me to carry a Droid Incredible and not have a data plan. 1200 minutes, 3000 texts, and 100mb of data for $29.95 is more than I need. I usually leave 3G turned off and look for wifi. FYI, at least in my area they resell Verizon.
