I know that on the old 532 daughterboards, the connector pins on the
daughterboard could bend and not seat properly in the connector on the
532 board. This would cause the daughtercard not to work. Check that. If
not that, I would assume that one or the other units were bad.

Make sure it has the latest firmware and bootloader.
Try booting it without the daughterboard and then boot with it on.

They should list themselves. Try reseating the daughter board (with
the POWER OFF).
