I want to use the hotspot feature on a MT router with a Cisco WLAN Controller 5500. We are using VLANs on the swithes and APs. I have configured the controller to setup a new WLAN with the correct VLAN ID. I have put the MT router on the VLAN ID and also on the VLAN1 with a default route on the core router pointing the correct subnet to the MT router. MT router can contact all devices in the network regardless of the VLAN they are on, but it cannot ping the WLAN controller. The WLAN controller cannot ping the MT router. I can get to the MT router without any issues from anywhere on the network. Anyone every setup a MT router hotspot with a Cisco WLAN Controller?
