1) Make sure you upgrade the firmware as well.
2) Make and send a supout.rif.
3) No clue.

Subject: [Mikrotik] CCR Running 6.17 Still Losing Parts of Config

There was a bug supposedly fixed in 6.16. We have had this condition
happen to two different CCR's, both CCR1036-12G-4S models. One was a few
months ago while running 6.15. The other happened today while running 6.17.

What's new in 6.16 (2014-Jul-17 13:12):
...
*) CCR - fixed rare file system corruption when none of configuration
could be changed or some of it disappeared;
...

This description fits what we've experienced. When this happens, we
notice several parts of the config or operation change. First, the
accounts are gone and the default account is made active, meaning you
can access the machine with username admin and no password. Second, the
entries in ip dns servers: are gone. Finally, the file system becomes
non-writable. We're sure other parts of the config disappear or change,
but these are the parts we notice.

Anyone else continuing to have these issues? Is Mikrotik aware that this
issue is ongoing?
