I configured a CRS125 24G 1S IN for a tower site. It ran for a few weeks
in my office. I pulled the power and plugged it in at the tower, no
joy. It stuck with a light on the SFP port and starting services on the
LED.
Took it back to the office reset factory defaults reprogrammed it,
unplugged power, plugged it back in. Same result. Stuck.
Reset and reconfigured. This time I did not disable the SFP port, I'm
wasn't planning on using it, so I had been disabling it. That appeared
to be the issue.
Running well now for a few weeks as a tower switch. Powered up and down
multiple times, no issues
Just an FYI and a question.
Is there something wrong with disabling it? There is a disabled
firewall rule that has it listed as an interface.
Thank you, Dave Hulsebus
