Here's what went on last year in the rest of the world: In 2004, the Thirst tour bus visited 31 countries. Ti�sto, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Daniele Davoli, Miss Motif and Smokin' Jo went on an intense tour across all these countries to find the most promising DJ talent. Paul Oakenfold: "When the Thirst thing came along, I thought �this is the way forward�. It doesn�t matter where you come from. We are trying to give someone the opportunity they wouldn�t otherwise have had." There were no overall finals and just one Regional Final: Thirst Asia. The Asians blew many a resident away. A spectacular Thai duo won the overall prize. Daniele Davoli: "DJ Kolor One & DJ Oatawa were really amazing. They would jump around, change their clothes, play instruments. It was a great show."
