Seharusnya hal ini dijawab oleh mereka yang masih bermukim di Jerman
(mungkin Pak Made).

Jangan terlalu mengkhawatirkan Skin Head, walaupun mereka beringas, kejam
dan ekstrim, tetapi mereka hanya minoritas saja. Selebihnya termasuk warga

Salam Sejahtera,

Information on Job Opportunities for Computer
Specialists

In view of the acute shortage of information technology specialists in
Germany the German Government has initiated a
short-term program allowing a limited number of specialists from non-EU
countries under certain conditions to obtain a work
permit and a residence permit for a limited period of time.

The German Federal Employment Agency has the sole responsibility for the
placement of IT personnel from abroad. An
internet hotline for the advertisement of jobs for German companies was
created under "Personalbedarf und
 Ausbildungsplaetze" at www.arbeitsamt.de.

IT specialists fluent in English and having a university degree in an IT
related subject may contact the

 Zentralstelle fuer Arbeitsvermittlung
 Villemomblerstr. 76
 53123 Bonn / Germany

at the e-mail adress: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In case of approval a workpermit will be granted for a period of maximum 3
years which may under certain circumstances be
renewed for a maximum period of further 2 years.

                                        Information Leaflet

on the Emergency Program of the Federal Republic of
Germany
to Satisfy Short-term Personnel Needs in
                             Germany's Information Technology (IT) Sector

In order to satisfy short-term personnel needs in the information
technology
sector the German government is about to open
new regulatory avenues. To cover the short-term personnel needs in
Germany's
IT sector access to jobs for top-level IT
specialists from abroad will be simplified.

It will be possible to satisfy personnel needs in this sector by means of
temporary employment of foreigners by domestic
companies. The employment of foreign specialists will be open to persons
with
university or polytechnic degrees in IT-related
 fields.

The German Government will make it possible for up to 20.000 information
technology specialists from abroad to take jobs
in Germany. When 10.000 work permits have been issued an assessment will be
carried out to see whether further personnel
is needed. The Federal Government will make the necessary changes in legal
regulations on residence and work permits for
foreigners. Top-level foreign specialists will be able to work in Germany
for
a limited period of time, i.e. up to five years.
Working and salary conditions for these foreign specialists must be the
same
as for domestic employees.

The Federal Employment Agency will have sole responsibility for the
placement
of IT-personnel from abroad. It will simplify
procedures for this purpose. With the approval of the Federal Employment
Agency companies are able to look for top-level
 specialists on their own.

IT-specialists from abroad seeking employment in Germany should approach
the
"Zentralstelle fr Arbeitsvermittlung (ZAV)"
a subsidiary of the Federal Employment Agency responsible for cross-border
employment.

      Zentralstelle fr Arbeitsvermittlung (ZAV)
      Villemombler Strasse 76
      53123 Bonn
      Postal address: ZAV
      53107 Bonn
      Tel.: ++49 (0) 228/713-0
      Fax.: ++49 (0) 228/713-1111
      Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Applications should be sent to the ZAV supported by relevant documentation
on
the qualification of the applicant.

The first decisions on applications will be taken once the regulatory
framework for the new procedure has been established.
The German Government aims at the middle of this year (2000) to complete
the
necessary legal foundation.
