The correct pinouts for a 10Base-T twisted pair crossover cable are:

TX+ 1 to 3 RX+
TX- 2 to 6 RX-
RX+ 3 to 1 TX+
RX- 6 to 2 TX-

Pinouts for a 100Base-TX crossover twisted pair Ethernet cable are:
NOTE: Crossover cable can be used but is unsupported at 100 Mbps
                                         ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

1. Pins 1 & 2 must be of the same twisted strand
2. Pins 3 & 6 must be of the same twisted strand
3. Pins 4, 5, 7, 8 are not used in 100Base-TX
4. Maximum distance for 100Base-TX cabling is 100 meters
5. The cabling must be Category 5

For example:
White/Blue TX+ 1 to 3 RX+ White/Blue
Blue TX- 2 to 6 RX- Blue
White/Brown RX+ 3 to 1 TX+ White/Brown
4 to 4 Not used
5 to 5 Not used
Brown RX- 6 to 2 TX- Brown
7 to 7 Not used
8 to 8 Not used
