Saya sedang mencoba backup data dgn rsync...
Berikut adalah rsync.conf ada pd comp server samba (192.168.1.2):
gid = users
read only = true
use chroot = true
transfer logging = true
log format = %h %o %f %l %b
log file = /var/log/rsyncd.log
#hosts allow = trusted.hosts
hosts allow = 192.168.1.5/24
slp refresh = 300
#[Example]
# path = /home/Example
# comment = An Example
# auth users = user
# secrets file = /etc/rsyncd.secrets
[home-bs]
path = /home/bs/Documents
comment = data bs
[data-general]
path = /home/general
comment = data bersama (umum)
Test hasil configurasinya:
linuxserver:/home/bs # rsync 192.168.1.2::
home-bs data bs
data-general data bersama (umum)
Ketika coba backup ke komputer yang sama (server samba), ataupun dari komputer
client (192.168.1.5), tidak berhasil & errornya sama...
Berikut cuplikannya:
linuxserver:/home/bs # ll backup-data/
total 0
linuxserver:/home/bs # rsync 192.168.1.2::home-bs/ /home/bs/backup-data/
rsync: link_stat “/.” (in home-bs) failed: Permission denied (13)
rsync error: some files could not be transferred (code 23) at main.c(1310)
[receiver=2.6.8]
linuxserver:/home/bs #
Sedangkan untuk coba backup data general, tdk berhasil juga:
linuxserver:/home/bs # rsync 192.168.1.2::data-general/ /home/bs/backup-data/
skipping directory /.
linuxserver:/home/bs # ll backup-data/
total 0
linuxserver:/home/bs #
