Bagaimana caranya agar File Sharing di Linux OPENSUSE 11.1 bisa diakses oleh
Win98??
Mesin Linux itu bisa muncul kelihatan di network neighborhood, tetapi gagal
diakses di win 98 dengan error message " The following error occureed while
trying to connect F:to \\192.168.7.50\share
The computer or sharename could no be found.Make sure you typed it correcly,and
try again"
Sedangkan dari Linux bisa (sukses) mengakses file sharing di mesin win98
Saya juga sudah menambahkan user dgn jalan :
# smbpasswd -a wahyu
sudah saya sesuaikan dengan login dan password windowsµsoft networking
dan saya juga sudah merubah registry di win98 agar "enable plain text
password" hasilnya masih tetap error seperti itu.selain saya test di win98 saya
juga mencoba di win xp dan win2000 bisa.
adapun setting smb.conf adalah sbb:
