I ran a "sa-learn --rebuild" and that didn't seem to help. I'm using SpamAssassin v2.63 and my sa-learn doesn't have a --expire option.
What exactly is $lock_file and why wouldn't it be defined if I started using -E?
Thanks.

I am getting the following error in my /var/log/maillog file:

I think you need to expire your bayes database, run as defang user: sa-learn --rebuild or sa-learn --expire
