I'm using clamav and thought that there
was a way to force it to scan password protected files.
Yes, via the supersecrect --ignore-encryption option to unzip.
We are using uvscan 4.3.20 on solaris. How do you force it to scan password protected files?
I've seen others report that they are catching the Bagle.F virus with uvscan, but our implementation
is not catching the virus because the file is password protected. When running uvscan from the
command line, we get the following when attempting to scan the zip file.
cloak# uvscan --noboot --secure --allole /temp/TextDocument.zip
/temp/TextDocument.zip/LPVDFWJ.SCR
is password-protected.Thanks, John
