Hello,
sophie fails on 42.zip compression bombs, when called by
MIMEDefang 2.39. It does not take advantage of sophos's
sav compression bomb detection feature ("loop_decompr_limit
reached") and runs at high CPU load until some timeout is
reached, filling up /tmp with large files.
This is rather strange, since the sophie sample Perl
client sock.pl has no problems, neither with the entire
message containing a 42.zip attachment, nor the 42.zip
message part itself.
I am not talking about handling zip archives in MIMEDefang.
If configured, sophie can look into zip files by itself.
Has this problem been adressed in 2.40-BETA-3?
