Here's an interesting conundrum: I have two servers, one running RedHat 9 and the other running SuSE 9. They both have the same versions of mimedefang (2.43) installed and the same version of spamassassin (2.55). I have configured the mimedefang-filter on both systems to attach the SA headers into the header, both also with Terse Reports set to 1. My output per header per system is as follows:
Redhat 9 X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=6.7 required=3.8 X-Spam-Level: ****** X-Spam-Flag: YES X-Spam-Report: ---- Start Filter results 6.70 hits, 3.8 required; * 0.1 -- BODY: Claims you can be removed from the list * 0.2 -- BODY: Talks about getting a discount * 0.2 -- BODY: Obfuscated 'online' in body * 3.0 -- BODY: Links to spamdomain.com * 0.0 -- BODY: credit card * 0.1 -- BODY: Gives a lame excuse about why you were sent this spam * 0.6 -- URI: URL of page called "remove" * 0.8 -- URI: Includes a 'remove' email address * 0.5 -- 'Message-Id' was added by a relay (3) * 1.2 -- Date: is 96 hours or more before Received: date SuSE 9 X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=6.7 required=3.8 X-Spam-Level: ****** X-Spam-Flag: YES X-Spam-Report: ---- Start Filter results 6.70 hits, 3.8 required; * 0.2 -- BODY: Talks about getting a discount * 0.1 -- BODY: Gives a lame excuse about why you were sent this spam * 3.0 -- BODY: Links to spamdomain.com * 0.2 -- BODY: Obfuscated 'online' in body * 0.1 -- BODY: Claims you can be removed from the list * 0.0 -- BODY: credit card * 0.6 -- URI: URL of page called "remove" * 0.8 -- URI: Includes a 'remove' email address * 0.5 * 'Message-Id' was added by a relay (3) * 1.2 -- Date: is 96 hours or more before Received: date So the question is kind of hovering around "WTF?" Anybody have any idea as to why there's a formatting difference?
