I would propose in today's sexually hypersensitive workplace that HTML should be disallowed in case someone accidentally opened an email with HTML content that autoloaded graphical material of a potentially offensive nature.

 Sucks, but true.

Tell me about it. You wouldn't (ok, you probably would) beleive the whining I heard when our Lotus Notes users would mess up the settings in their clients and images stopped appearing.
