   No indicaton that the -t option is in use. I did not alter
/etc/init.d/syslog, so its whatever Solaris 2.8 defaults to.

# ps -ef | grep syslogd
    root   176     1  0   May 08 ?        0:13 /usr/sbin/syslogd
