This is in RedHat Linux 7.3. It's very odd. For example, I just added a small 1-byte text change (I put a dash in a header name) in a change_header call.
I forced a reread using md-mx-ctrl reread. I then sent myself a message and it still has the old header name without the dash. I then stopped sendmail, stopped mimedefang, started mimedefang and started sendmail and the dash is there. It's like a reread isn't really reloading the subfilter.
