My Mimedefang relay has been crashing a lot lately, mostly due to the huge load it's carrying. I'm still trying to optimize it to make it a little more stable but in the meantime I'd like this error to stop.
When Mimedefang just straight out quits responding every message that gets received gets replied with "Mail Server Busy. Please Try Again Later" I would prefer Sendmail not answer at all so the mail sits in the Other mail servers queue instead of bouncing back a message without a real error code. Any ideas? Also, I can't find any docs on command line options for MimeDefang. Is there anyway to limit the max clients? Cause when a surge of mail comes in (every reboot :P) it spawns about 6 or 7 then runs out of resources and dies. Any advice?
