I had a spare few minutes, so I upgraded one of my servers to 2.45-BETA-2 so I
could check out watch-mimedefang.
I am running the client on my pc via cygwin.
A couple of problems. It seems that you cannot have a non-standard location for
the server socket. Mine happens to live in /var/run/mimedefang. I tried
creating a script /root/my-md-mx-ctrl with one simple line:
/usr/local/bin/md-mx-ctrl -s /var/run/mimedefang/mimedefang-multiplexor.sock $*
That didn't work :(
Since I didn't have much time, I just symlinked the socket into
/var/spool/MIMEDefang.
Now watch-mimedefang is throwing this error:
syntax error in expression "error: / 10.0": variable references require
preceding $
syntax error in expression "error: / 10.0": variable references require
preceding $
while executing
"expr $msgs_0 / 10.0"
(procedure "take_reading" line 19)
invoked from within
"take_reading"
("after" script)
Not sure where to go from here, to a TCL expert.
TIA.
Tony
