After upgrading, I tried watch-defang again. Server is Slackware 10, client is WindowsXP running CygWin..
Started watch-defang as follows: watch-mimedefang -command 'ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] md-mx-ctrl' running the ssh command from the command prompt works as expected.
