I've setup filter_relay with something like whats listed below...<snip>
However when I send mail from the test.com domain the mail passes through mimedefang without being rejected.
Is reverse DNS set up for the IP of the machine you're sending from? If not, or if it points to something generic (like whatever.dsl.pacbell.net), $name won't match what you're looking for.
