Download the source, read the install and changelog thouroughly... esp note the INCOMPATITBILITY notes in changelog. Upgrade your perl mods (I use CPAN) and mime:tools (also downloaded from roaringpenguin). Resolve any incompatibilities noted in changelog and ./configure && make && makeinstall mimedefang.
