First there is: http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/spf/draft-lentczner-spf-00.txt "SPF Classic", however, is largely based on: http://spf.pobox.com/spf-draft-200406.txt The Schlitt draft of December 2004 updates that specification. Hence, the Schlitt draft has become known as "SPF Classic" (in contradistinction to the Lentczner draft). As per, http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-lyon-senderid-pra-00 (Section 5. Acknowledgements), "The PRA concept was first published in [CallerID]". Sender-ID is the later name for Caller-ID. Since SPF has nothing to do with PRA, especially not the "classic" drafts, saying that Sender-ID = Caller-ID + "SPF Classic", is somewhat of an odd statement. - Mark System Administrator Asarian-host.org --- "If you were supposed to understand it, we wouldn't call it code." - FedEx _______________________________________________ Visit http://www.mimedefang.org and http://www.canit.ca MIMEDefang mailing list [email protected] http://lists.roaringpenguin.com/mailman/listinfo/mimedefang
