Are you sure you read the manual about filter_sender? Look at the
mimedefang-filter manpage, at the filter_sender section. Specifically,
the sentence starting with "Note that for this check to take place, you
must use...".
See also MX_SENDER_CHECK in your rc.mimedefang, if you have one.
