I run my scanning system on a AIX variant PPC604 w/128MB (and 4 slaves) which works great for me... it's all about figuring out the needs carefully. On my server, it's the bare minimum.. no X, nothin else running that I don't need. Your box does sound underpowered for the needs. -Ben -- Ben Kamen - O.D.T, S.P. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Home: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.benjammin.net gPG Pub Key - http://www.benjammin.net/www/pages/library _______________________________________________ NOTE: If there is a disclaimer or other legal boilerplate in the above message, it is NULL AND VOID.
