Yesterday I started getting these errors in my MD log (3 different e-mails with 3 different yet strangely related symptoms):
Oct 21 08:11:12 gleek mimedefang[29105]: k9LFBBcR067556: RESULTS file did not finish with 'F' line: Tempfailing Oct 21 08:11:12 gleek mimedefang-filter[66498]: k9LFBBcR067556: Clamd returned error: lstat() failed. Oct 21 08:11:12 gleek mimedefang-filter[66498]: filter: k9LFBBcR067556: tempfail=1 Oct 21 08:12:10 gleek mimedefang[29105]: k9LFC9f2067863: Filter did not create RESULTS file Oct 21 08:12:10 gleek mimedefang-filter[67395]: k9LFC9f2067863: Cannot mkdir(Work): No such file or directory Oct 21 08:12:11 gleek mimedefang[29105]: Error from multiplexor: error: k9LFC9f2067863: Cannot mkdir(Work): No such file or directory Oct 21 08:45:03 gleek mimedefang-filter[75502]: k9LFj1Hi077163: Could not open RESULTS file: No such file or directory Oct 21 08:45:03 gleek mimedefang[29105]: Error from multiplexor: error: k9LFj1Hi077163: Could not open RESULTS file: No such file or directory The other oddity is that I have functions in mimedefang-filter are also having problems when I try to create marker files (zero length) which I use to maintain state. I found nothing specifically related to MD when I perused Google. I checked the filesystem and there's plenty of available space and plenty of inodes available. CPU utilization and available memory look reasonable based on the trending data I collect via MRTG. OS is FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE - perl is 5.8.8 - MD is 2.57 Any ideas?
