I figured out it was temp failing the message because of this error:
Jan 25 11:10:21 pro2 mimedefang-multiplexor[35557]: Slave 0 stderr: Deep
recursion on subroutine "main::rebuild_entity" at
/usr/local/bin/mimedefang.pl line 709.
I fixed it by setting that $MaxMIMEParts
