Discarding is bad because you can't prevent false positives, and those messages are going to disappear without either the sender or the recipient(s) knowing.
My reject SA score threshold is 10, and anything worse than that coming from a secondary and designated for my personal domain gets the accept-and-discard treatment. For my business domain, it goes in the quarantine instead of being discarded.
