Are you running MIMEDefang compiled against an 8.14.0 libmilter against
Sendmail 8.13? Or 8.14? I would not expect libmilter from 8.14 to work
with Sendmail 8.13.
If you *are* using Sendmail 8.14, then the problem is more serious and

I started out like you did. Just installing 8.14 and everything looks
peachy even with the 8.14 lib's in place. Then, this morning I saw the
previous poster with issues compiling MD against the 8.14
libs/includes. So I tried it and received the above error as soon as I
tried to send something through the system.
Here is my configure:
configured by ./configure, generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59,
with options \"'--with-milterinc=/usr/src/sendmail-8.14.0/include'\"
Should have used all the includes for 8.14 and the 8.14 libs were in place
at /usr/lib
This is what I usually do. I am on an Athlon64 and on the first pass it
couldn't find libmilter/mfapi.h, so I included the milterinc statement and
it compiled cleanly.
Did I goof?
