I don't question blocking gmail, but do you really want to recommend using
Yahoo and Hotmail? Or have they cleaned up their act since the last time I
banned them from my forum signups? (Yahoo was mangling confirmation URLs in
their web mail client.)

one of these alternatives:

* LYCOS Mail
* Hotmail
