I'm running Sendmail V8.13.8 ; MIMEDefang 2.70 ; Spamassassin V3.2.5
My Spam checks are done through Sendmail -> MimeDefang Milter ->
Multiplexor -> Mail::SpamAssasin Class
I'm still receiving a big amount of junk mails whith a MIMEDefang score
of 0.001 (as the result of my spam_assassin_check() in my filter).
When I check the same mail using the spamassassin command line with my
MIMEDefang config file, I have a high hit number, totally different from
my 0.001 ?
But this does not happen all the time! For some mails the hit through my
"online chain" ar similar as the result I've got by manally invoking
spamassassin and my "anti-spam" rules are fired.
I use spamassassin -p /etc/mail/sa-mimedefang.cf -D < /tmp/JunkMail.msg
to compare the score with what I add in my mail header. (yes, I tried
with the defang user as well).
Any suggestion or hint to solve that problem are welcomed.
