FWIW, this system has Unix::Syslog v1.1 installed, which seems to be
the newest, but also seems to be over a year old. I was going to look
at diffs of recent versions but it doesn't seem to have changed recently.
Perhaps I'm doing something stupid?

Im seeing this problem on a centos 5.5 installation.
Its happened between version 2.67 and 2.68 as my script works ok with
2.67 but with 2.68 I get

Looking at the change log I can see
Detect Sys::Syslog vs. Unix::Syslog at run-time rather than when running
./configure.
I'm not sure where to go from here, any tips? output of mimedefang.pl
