I'm seeing some line termination weirdness:

What would cause the end-of-line character to (a) be set to \r\n and (b) be
printed in octal with a hash mark?
I'm running Fedora 13 (updated), mimedefang-2.72 BETA (patched with my port
fix), and perl 5.10.1.
As far back as my logs are kept (Nov 07, 4:22 MST) this problem seems to have
been going on... although it didn't start causing fatal errors until I tried to
use the CIDR interface to Patricia... but the logs definitely had \r in odd
format in them:
Nov 7 04:22:32 mail mimedefang.pl[24374]: hostip=140.211.11.3,
action=CONTINUE, msg=OK, net=0.0.0.0/0#012
Stranger still is that it's \r, not \n...
Thanks,
-Philip
