Check your submit.cf and locate the where you have your QueueDirectory. The mail is in that directory.

It seems that given enough time the messages are eventually sent out. I would rather the messages not be queued, but that they be immediately processed. Is this possible? The man pages also mention "Do not use this function unless locally- submitted e-mail is submitted using SMTP". Is this referring to the MAILER option in the sendmail config file?
