how to configure maximum no. of client connections

hi,
 i want to set a limit to maximum number of client connections.How do i do it. 
e.g. if i want that at a time maximum of  1000 clients should be connected to 
my application(server), how can i do it in mina. Is there any build in 
class/method to create this effect
