No worries Trustin it was a good exercise to look closely at this issue.

What I don't understand is why this issue (which seems platform specific) would bring MINA to a halt. Or is it the case here that MINA is completely relying on the underlying nio implementation and network stack of the running OS and can't do anything at all?
