Correct.

The java5 bits allow you to use the Executor that ships with java5 vs the backported one. In actuality, we could detect the presence of java5 via reflection and then instantiate its executor transparently.. Would be a good enhancement for 1.0.1 :)

To be honest MINA is pretty good, but the lack of complete documentation means performance tuning stuff like this are quite difficult to be used and
understood.

However, great work guys!! MINA is the best.

Patches are welcome! Especially on documentation! There is quite a bit of knowledge in the mailing list as well, if you dig back through the archives.
