Nothing as muscular as that :-) ... the server is a single cpu machine
running CentOS
4.4.
I would imagine you won't see much difference between the thread pools
on a single CPU machine. But it would be interesting to see if it
degrades with our thread pool - it might do due to extra context
switches.
I will try it in a dual CPU and report back.
Do you use direct or heap buffers? We find heap buffers significantly
better than direct.
