We consistently do 20,000+ socket connections per server, with a throughput of around 1,200 packets per second during peak time. The throughput is not as good as we would have liked, but this is due to another downstream service bottleneck.
I am happy to hear that MINA performed well. Please let us know when MINA becomes a bottleneck. We haven't tried Netty, but did have a look at QuickServer. Our tests
showed that QuickServer is not very quick at all when compared to Mina.
Another great news. Thank you for the heads up! To the Mina team - well done guys, you're doing a great job! Please get in touch with us whenever you have a problem or wish with MINA.
