Hola a todos, El CITA (Center for Instructional Technology Accessibility) de la Universidad de Illinois acaba de anunciar la vesion 1.0 de la herramienta "Accessible Web Publishing Wizard", un producto gratuito que: "...ofrece una alternativa a la funcionalidad de publicaci�n en Web nativa de Office."
Como sabeis el resultado de guardar un documento de Office como HTML no es precisamente compatible con los est�ndares del W3C. Esta herramienta promete generar un HTML m�s accesible a partir de presentaciones de PowerPoint y de documentos Word. Funciona como un asistente con diferentes pasos, que permiten al autor introducir informaci�n necesaria para mejorar la accesibilidad del resultado final, como textos alternativos o descripciones para las im�genes de la presentaci�n.
