I think two Wongs don't make a white is more the temper of this Harry
situation, or that dreadful "two little boys" song. Our media devoted
more time to this pathetic charade than the deaths of 7 babies at risk
in Doncaster, My rugby nickname at school was Nigger, a term of
affection I shared with another white colleague and indicative of hard
work. A slightly browner lad got called Coon. He put up a brave
face, but was deeply upset by this and homosexual slurs (he turned
out, of course, to be the best womaniser of us all). Political
correctness is no answer, as victims do not trust the politically
correct, suspecting them (correctly) or mere rhetoric. I rather
prefer PC to black gangster - but honesty is much better than either.
