I've often wondered how violence, even of the Belgian kind, is so easy to whip up. There must have been a previous flare up Willy, as many of Flemish blood live in Pembroke. Seeing the destruction Israel has caused in Gaza I want to hear no more excuse from anyone. All involved, even the innocents, are to some extent responsible for disgusting, unacceptable behaviour - yet beyond this one wonders just what foul foreign policy is really involved. I can take no side and would like to know more about how these sides, even in Willi's peaceful country arise. I suspect the West is too far up its won foreign policy issues in this area to be able to help. I suspect the Brits created Israel in order to reconquer the Middle East with the French and thus pay the US back with oil money. The US was too greedy to allow this and stepped in directly. Women weeping over dead children of whatever ethnicity are irrelevant in this view. The Scots are less "Scottish" than I can ever remember, but we are much more likely to vote for independence than over before. We are suffering "white flight" from England as its middle classes notice the growing proportion of "Muslim-coloured faces" - the English are now building defences on our side of Hadrian's Wall! They have, of course, already stolen most of our oil and gas.
