I think these were pretty fair experiments Orn. Some idiot responding to them said that we couldn't have the pharmaceutical companies selling us placebos even if they worked. I don't think this is quite what he meant, which would involve preventing people being cured. I would guess what would interest you and I about the actual experiments is that they do indicate something about the desire to be cured and receive care. My feet feel much better for a massage, but the NHS does not provide this.
